Do you take the lights down after Christmas?
Yes, if you book it. We come back in January, unclip everything, check the strands and box them so they work next year. Ask for it when you book the install, because those January slots fill up too.
Can you use my lights, or do you bring them?
Either. Most people already have strands in the garage, and we test them for dead bulbs before they go up. If you'd rather we supply them, we bring commercial-grade strands for an added cost.
Can you hang lights on stucco without drilling?
Yes, and that's how we do it. The clips ride the fascia and the gutter edge, so nothing goes into the wall. Stucco has wire mesh under it, and a screw driven in blind can crack the finish.
Do you hang lights on a two-story house?
Often, but not always. We work from a ladder at the eave and don't walk pitched roofs, so a second-story eave over level ground is usually fine and one over a slope or a tile roof may be a no. Send a photo of the front and we'll tell you before anyone drives out.
What if my only outdoor outlet is in the garage?
Get an electrician out before December. Adding an outdoor outlet is electrical work, and it isn't ours. We plug into the outlets you already have, put the run on a timer and check that the GFCI resets.
