Handyman Services in Pasadena
More than a quarter of Pasadena's homes were built before 1940, so plaster walls and older trim turn up in ordinary repairs. In landmark districts like Bungalow Heaven, some street-side work may need city review first.

What customers say
Real reviews from Thumbtack, word for word.
“Sergio was great! Super responsive, very efficient, and incredibly professional. He helped caulk my shower wall that was causing water to spill out into my bathroom. He found the source of where the water was spilling out, and he even caulked additional areas just to make sure it’s water tight. Will definitely use him again!”
“Sergio and his team were prompt and efficient. They worked hard all day on a flooring project I had and the work turned out great! I would definitely use him and his team again”
“Very kind very considerate a very very good hard worker. I highly recommend him.”

Handyman in Pasadena: FAQ
Do I need city approval for a new fence or gate in a landmark district?
It may be required. Pasadena's planning packet lists new fences, walls and driveway gates in a historic or landmark district as minor projects that can need a Certificate of Appropriateness. Bungalow Heaven, Garfield Heights and Banbury Oaks follow their own conservation plans. Check with the city before we start.
Can I paint the brick on my porch?
In a designated district, painting masonry may need a Certificate of Appropriateness first. Interior walls and trim aren't on that list.
What does the fire department look for on foothill homes?
Pasadena Fire runs brush inspections in spring and summer. Roofs should be clear of needles and twigs, foliage at least 5 feet above the roof and no plants within 10 feet of a chimney. We clean gutters from a ladder and don't walk pitched roofs.
Are your prices the same in Pasadena?
Yes. The same upfront flat pricing applies across LA, including Pasadena. You approve the price before we start.
How soon can you come out in Pasadena?
A Pasadena job usually gets a slot within one to two days. We group visits by area, so the day depends on what's already booked nearby, and we text before arrival.
