Meet your LA handyman crew
Sergio owns Construction Hub and still works the jobs himself. He walks the house with you, prices the whole list flat, and you approve that number before we touch anything. Twelve years on the tools, six of them as Construction Hub, and 42 services on the list.

What we take on, and where we stop
An old house does not fail in one category. A single visit can be a TV onto a plaster wall, a closet door back on its track, a faucet that has dripped since March, and two towel bars that came out of the wall with the anchors still on them. We quote the whole list as one job.
Most of the skill is in what we check before the fix. We put a level on the jamb before anyone planes a door, because a house that has settled racks the opening and a thinner door does not fix a crooked gap. We find framing before we hang a mount, since a drywall anchor in lath and plaster holds as long as it takes you to walk out.
We are insured and background checked. Fixture swaps, carpentry, drywall, mounting and maintenance are ours, and we tell you on the phone which parts of your list we take. A new circuit, a repipe, gas work, anything holding the house up: that goes to a specialist, and where we know a good one you get the name.

Plaster cracks along the lath, so a patch mixed for drywall opens again by the next dry spell. We match what is already on the wall before we prime it.
Mounting and assembly
Studs in a 1920s bungalow sit at odd spacing behind the plaster. We locate framing, drill, then check level twice, and in a condo we book the elevator before the delivery lands.
Outdoor and seasonal
Gutters pack with needles by October, the week the Santa Anas arrive. We clear them by hand. On stucco and old redwood we drop the pressure and let the soap work instead.
Small electrical and plumbing
The pancake box over your table was sized for a bulb, not for thirty-five pounds of fan spinning every evening. We check the rating and the shutoff valve first, then quote.
Who shows up
Five of us. Everyone is background checked, and Sergio works most of the jobs himself. A bigger project brings more hands, and you still call the same number and get the same person answering it. If you do this kind of work yourself, apply to join the crew.
We work out of Santa Monica and cover 26 cities. The Westside and central LA are usually next day. Everything farther out, the South Bay through the San Gabriel Valley, runs within a couple of days. You get that window on the phone when you book, and a call if it moves.
We have been in enough LA buildings to know which ones want the elevator reserved and which HOAs count quiet hours before the first drill goes in.

How the price works
One flat price, approved first
We price off what is in front of us, the wall behind the anchor and how long the list runs. One number covers the whole visit, however many small things are on the list.
It does not drift
The number holds unless the job changes, and then you hear it while we are standing there. Open-ended work, where nobody can say up front how long it takes, runs $85–$125 an hour.
Batch the list
The drive across town is most of what a small job costs. Six errands on six visits means six drives. Put them on one list and you pay for one trip.
