Flooring & Tile in Los Angeles
Cracked tile, failing grout and fresh backsplashes: clean lines, sealed and water-tight.
Tile repair $150–$500, grout repair and resealing $150–$450, backsplash installation $300–$900. Small footprint, and it sits right where guests look. The cracked tile inside your front door and the grout line that went dark years ago are half a day of work rather than a remodel. This is a family company, so the person who quotes your job is the person who does it. You approve the price, then we cut tile.

Why the tile cracked
Before matching a tile we want to know what broke the old one. Much of the basin sits on slab, and a crack in a slab travels straight up through the mortar into whatever is bonded on top. Set a new tile over that and it splits along the same line inside a year or two. Tap the tiles nearby: a hollow sound means the bond let go under tile that is still whole, so the fix is lifting those and setting them back down rather than matching new ones. We check that first and tell you which one you are dealing with.
Hard water, stained grout
Water through the Valley and most of the basin is hard enough to leave a record on everything it touches. Aerators scale up, glass spots, and shower grout stains and keeps the stain. Cleaning gets you part of the way. Cutting out the top layer and packing in fresh grout gets you the rest, and sealing afterward buys a few years before it starts over. At corners and where the wall meets the pan we use matched caulk instead of grout, since grout in a joint that moves will crack again.
What customers say

“Thank you Sergio for coming on such short notice and making yourself available! Sergio was able to fix a door hanging incorrectly, plumbing, bath spout, electrical and wall-mounted a TV in minutes! Very knowledgeable and professional. Thanks again!”
“Sergio went beyond the call to fix a hole in the wall. He found the cause, fixed the hole, but also replaced the gutter, sealed all the cracks in the area and repainted everything to match. He also did some highly skilled drywall work (the ceiling has curved corners). I'm impressed and would definitely use him again.”
“Sergio was really good and honest. He knew exactly what he was doing when replacing my garbage disposal and fixing one of my kitchen cabinets. I would recommend him to other people who need a good handyman.”
